Chapter 15

Mark Sumners talks about how we have to either hope the predictions about the end of the world are wrong or actually do something about it. Well he actually means we should do both if only believing the predictions make us feel better. No matter what, however, we need to realize what we are doing to the environment and someway contribute to the betterment of the situation. We are seriously eating up the very thing that keeps us happy. Sumners says if we don’t do something, if we lose, we die. This may be true, who knows. But for the betterment of ourselves, each person should take the responsibility of giving this world a better chance than it has right now.
