Chapter 4-A Note From Pastor Dan

I thought that it was very interesting to read about the differences in "truth," or what people think is real vs. what people claim to know is real. One argument that I found particularly interesting was the question, "If God is good and great why is the world this way?" and the authors responding question of how do we know that the creator was not a malevolent creator. I think that the author made some very valid points about trying to combine technology with religion, or to at least have them co-exist peacefully. That one persons truth may not necessarily be someone else's truth. But that we should all be able to agree that we have been given a great place to live, through whatever means, and that we need science to progress so that we can keep enjoying the place that we live, especially after all of the damage we have done to it.
