Topic: How media is used to bring issues to the attention of society

In this paper I will discuss how film is used as a political outlet to influence and educate society about current events. I will mainly discuss documentaries such as Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth as a way to set an agenda and bring attention to certain political issues. I will also discuss how these films impact society and change popular perceptions about these issues.
